What is the present paid up capital of the Bank? How was the additional paid up capital provided to the Bank?

  • In February 2008, capital was raised by way of Rights Issue and Public Offer. The Rights issues were sold at N12.50 per share and 321,577,293 units of shares were allotted while the Public offer was sold at N14.50 per share and 2,140,787,034 units of shares were allotted.

Does the Bank have plans to increase paid up capital? If so how, by what amount and within what time frame?

  • Yes. The Bank is looking at raising up to USD125m in equity by way of private placement to select investors and bond issue at a later date.

List all share holdings in the ordinary shares of the Bank exceeding 5% of the issued shares that carry voting rights in the Bank.

  • There has been no shareholder having up to 5% shares in the Bank since 31 December 2008.
